Built around the late 1870's, McGregor Manor is one of six platdak Georgian double-storey houses in McGregor that are enthusiastically referred to as "Van Eyssen's Jewels".
You can spoil yourselves by resting in our luxuriously decorated bedrooms (each with en-suite facilities).
Our red room is furnished tastefully with an olde white and gold brass bed with crispy white percale cotton linen enveloping goose-down duvet and pillows. (For those colder winter nights, an electric blanket is installed for your added comfort). The remaining antique oak furniture is complimented by the period style curtains with voile linings. The en-suite bathroom includes a bath and stained glass windowed door leading onto an outside shower (recommended for those hot summer months !!)
Our blue room with private entrance is decadently furnished again with period style curtains. The teak bed is dressed in crispy white percale cotton linen enveloping goose-down duvet and pillows. There is an adjoining private lounge with a comfortable, stylish sofa bed , ideal for those with accompanying children.
We have recently introduced a delightful restored thatched cottage, which features open poplar beams, a huge open fireplace, its own private setting in our lovely gardens and a tastefully appointed en-suite bathroom. The thatched cottage is idyllic for those wishing for a peaceful, romantic stay in McGregor !!
Our healthy country breakfasts are served on finest bone china in the elegant dining room or outside on the patio and includes our very own "McGregor Manor pancake speciality" to add to your feast !
Feel free to wander in our gardens, with its indigenous flora or rest your soul sat beside the lily pond.
Laze awhile under the shade of a huge oak tree or take a cool dip in the sparkling swimming pool.
For those cold winter evenings, sip a glass of the local wine beside the roaring open log fire in the lounge.
