DirectionsFrom Cape Town:
* The most direct route is to head out on the N1, take exit - Wellington-Stellenbosch-Klapmuts, turn right, and follow the R45 to Franschhoek.
From the airport you have three options.
* head on the N2 direction Somerset West.
* take the R300 in the direction to Belville
* follow this till the N1 to Paarl.
* on the N1 take exit- Wellington-Stellenbosch-Klapmuts.
* follow the directions to Franschhoek via R45 or
* head in the direction of Somerset West
* take the R310 off ramp and follow this road all the way through Stellenbosch until it intersects with the R45
* Turn right and follow the R45 to Franschhoek. or
* Follow the signs to Somerset West
* stay on the N2 and continue over Sir Lowry's Pass down to Grabouw
* At Grabouw take the R321 into the mountains
* turn left onto the R45 and follow to Franschhoek,
From Hermanus:
* Heading west, follow the signs back to the N2
* turn left towards Grabouw
* At Grabouw, take the R321 into the mountains
* turn left onto the R45 and follow to Franschhoek.
In Franschhoek:
* Coming into the village of Franschhoek, you''ll see a BP Petrol station on your left.
* Immediately turn left after the Petrol station into La Cotte Street.
* Take the first street to your right ( Huguenot street ) and we are just on that corner.
* Please note that we are in Huguenot street, and not Huguenot road which is the main road with all the restaurants. |
